Can anyone use some old jeans?

ok, that title sounds a bit scary. I have 3 pairs of jeans that I ripped while stretching them out (shhhhhh, yes, I know how bad that sounds). The denim is still in great shape, so I want to see if anyone out there uses denim in their crafting? I'd be happy to pass them along to someone who could use the material. I hate to just throw it away. Contact me if you're interested.

And I will post pictures later of the great stuff that my Bella Sistah, Terri, sent to me. Soooooo cute!!!!!

My hiatus is over!

Well, my fiance's major medical issues seem to be behind us, so I'm back to share my Christmas cards from this year. I have to credit Angela Sgro (her blog is listed in my favorites!) for her wonderful Christmas Tree paintchip idea. I finally used up those old samples sitting in my craft drawer!

A few of the Sockafellabella cards I made:

My Brother's Wedding

It's this friday & here is the card I made for my future SIL. You can't tell from the scan, but the dresses on the bridal party bellas are closer to the lime green cardstock than what appears.

I also wanted to thank everyone for your notes of congratulations for my fiance & I. I'm still getitng used to saying fiance. :)

A big MWAH to all my Bella Sistahs!

Thank you so much for giving me some really terrific sentiments to cheer up my friend. Your responses were overwhelming. I ended up using a quote from http://thinkexist.com/quotes/top/ . I plan on using several more of the ideas in later cards (as I think this breakup will require several cards over a long period of time). Here's what I came up with:

The inside of the card reads: but then again, you always make a rough draft before creating the final masterpiece.

On an unrelated note, sorry for the lack of postings this month. I've been working non-stop since last month.....good thing "the man" gave me a promotion & more $$. :)

I love receiving gift cards!

My brother & (future) sister-in-law gave me a nice big gift card to Michael's for my birthday. And, like usual, I couldn't wait to start spending it. Can I just say how much I love the $1 crack bins there. I found some really cute ribbon there today, plus some of the thinner, solid-colored ribbon is only twenty cents right now! You can't beat that!

Must get back to work & figure out how on earth this new blackberry they sent to me works. :)

Virtual Stamping Bella Daze

I didn't think I'd have time, but I was pretty busy creating cards this weekend for the Virtual Stamping Bella Daze. There we so many great projects posted by everyone & it really got my creative juices flowing. Here are a couple of my entries.

My first Bella cards!

So, I finally got around to figuring out how the scanner works & now I am going crazy uploading images. I made these cards as soon as I recieved my first order of bellas.

On this birthday card I love the sparkle on the brads! -->

First post is the hardest.

After several weeks of having my blog, finally, my first post! Nothing great to post yet, but let me see if I can find a couple pics of past cards to post to get this party started right.

This is a simple baby card I made a few months back using my quickutz dies. I love my quickutz. I think they have the cutest dies. I couldn't tell you the paper....I'll never pay that much attention to what I'm doing. :)

I am a full-time wife and mother with a full-time career who attempts (from time to time) to be a Superwoman crafty chick.....often these attempts include wine. There is no rhyme or reason as to what each post may contain, so check back often for Lord knows what insanity. As Prince said "We are gathered here together to get through this thing called Life". Cheers ladies, let's get through this together.
